and some not, who found themselves in financial distress. Since 2008, the church had
continued to collect food and clothing, some of which was given to persons or families who
asked the church for help, but most has been contributed to the United Way of Monticello and
to the Monticello Homeless Shelter.
Deacons Bill Roskilly and Gregory Collier visit church member
Inez Wallace in a Middletown hospital in June, 2006. The deacons maintain an active
Deacon ministry to church members and others.
For ten years, we conducted a backtrack
ministry at the Monticello Raceway as the Pastor visited there, but this was
discontinued because he became unable to continue after his wife became ill.
